What's New in OmegaLand V3.5
In OmegaLand V3.5, the following items have been mainly upgraded.
New product “OmegaLand Trainer Enterprise” is now available.
Enterprise function consists of client-server configuration and provides flexible computer system usage, reducing the cosf to maintain OmegaLand software and its applications, and training management function.
Distillation tower units and partial condenser units can now be used to simulate hidden leaks in water seals.
In addition, it is no longer necessary to set a bypass line for reverse flow, which was required in the past.
Pump efficiency calculations have been implemented into centrifugal pumps. It is now possible to correctly represent the effective work on fluids, and the problem of unrealistic temperature increases at minute flow rates has been solved.
The root cause of the abnormal sum of the vapor-liquid phase of the heat exchanger has been removed, and the expression is physically correct.
The default value of units with liquid holdup has been set to a non-zero value to make calculations more robust.
A holdup composition parameter has been added to make it easier to specify the holdup composition as a reinitialization condition.
A vapor-liquid equilibrium calculation method for the water component has been added to the water separation calculation method for liquid-liquid equilibrium. The degree of freedom in adjusting the physical characteristics of water has been increased, making it easier to reproduce phenomena.
A calculation method that improves the water separation calculation speed has been added to the general-purpose flash calculation, and the multiphase flow calculation has become faster.
A version control of the calculation method of general-purpose flash calculation has been added. It is possible select the physical property version on the "Physical property" definition window.
In addition to the existing support for Japanese and English languages, Russian, Chinese, Korean, and French are newly supported. This applies to tag comments, alarm messages, annunciators, and operation guides on the GRAPHIC window.
The display format of the Runtime banner can all be customized, and it can be placed in two areas: the top and bottom of the window.
HMIs that match the usage environment can be provided, such as on-site operation screens and non-CENTUM screens.
The number of alarm types has been increased to 20.
It is now possible to define the alarm level and the corresponding alarm sound, and play the highest level alarm sound.
It is now possible to display a list including the operation guide.
It is now possible to group by display PC, and more flexible alarm management is possible according to the purpose.
The faceplates and detailed display have been made to look more like the CENTUM windows.
The operation feeling and display contents of the trend group, detailed display, and control group have been brought closer to CENTUM.
The displayable position (Home) in the photo can be set.
The character display in the touch target area can be adjusted according to the character string length.
The display position of the tab page has been made independent from the ide-scrolling operation and the master trigger and edit button areas at the bottom of the tree area on the left side of the window are always displayed, making it more efficient for left / right and up / down scrolling operations on the ITF window.
An engineering tool that efficiently uses EXCEL can be used to check the item layout for each ITF function, check the setting variable information, change the main variables, and check whether each variable can be changed at runtime.
It is now possible to embed icons such as company logos in the header and footer of the report PFD generated by ITF.
Other many bug fixes and improvement of program are included in this version.
