What's New in OmegaLand V3.3

In OmegaLand V3.3, the following items have been mainly upgraded.

Operating System Expansion
64-bit Native Support

OmegaLand has been provided as a 32 bit program until version 3.2. OmegaLand is released with both 64-bit and 32 bit in new version 3.2. Direct access to 64-bit operating system features enables large-scale process construction and improves processing performance. The 32-bit version is still supported, so use a 32-bit operating system or install the 32-bit version if compatibility is required.
When configuring a simulator with multiple PCs, a combination of 64-bit OS and 32-bit OS is possible. In addition, it is also possible to mix 32-bit / 64-bit for each model process in the simulation project, and realize a compatible and flexible system configuration.

OS

Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB is newly supported as an operating environment.

Virtual Environment

Windows Server 2016 is supported in a virtual environment using Hyper-V as an operating environment.
Please contact with Omega Simulation Sales department about software licensing to use OmegaLand in a virtual environment.

Microsoft Excel

Excel 2019 is newly supported as a configuration tool for GRAPHIC and instructor functions.

Main UI

In the 64-bit version, the model process is now displayed by tab switching in Main UI as when VM is operated alone. At the same time, operability has been improved, for example, the trend windows are not hidden in the model windows.

Model Functions

The distillation column now supports plug flow of the top gas holder, and more practical composition changes can be obtained. For the flash drum and the three-phase separation drum, the basic cycle can be further divided internally to stabilize the calculation.

GRAPHIC Function

The DCS emulation function has been enhanced and the faceplate customization range has been expanded. Graphic Setting Manager has been enhanced to easily modify the settings for each simulator

Instructor Function

The evaluation functions have been enhanced, including new support for procedure evaluation and its batch processing functions.

Other Update

Other many bug fixes and improvement of program are included in this version.
