OmegaLand Educator Reaction Simulator
Users can learn principles and rules of process engineering efficiently.
Aim of Reaction Simulator
The purpose of this simulator is to learn about the basics of equipment based on reaction engineering, and data analysis methods for existing equipment and test facilities for reactors.
Using this simulator will enable:
- Stoichiometry, thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium, and reaction kinetics, which are basic matters in designing equipment, using vapor phase reactions in fixed beds reactor.
- Stoichiometry, thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium, and reaction kinetics using liquid phase reactions in continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR).
- Analysis methods to obtain the data required for designing these types of equipment.
Target Process
CONTINUOUS STIRRED TANK REACTOR (CSTR)
FIXED BED VAPOR PHASE REACTOR
Exercise Contents
This course is primarily intended for people in the production departments (operators and process engineers) and researchers in the production technology field involved in equipment design and installation.
It is recommended for people who have the following interests:
- People interested in deepening their knowledge of stoichiometry and reaction heat, and sorting out the design concepts of actual reactors.
- People who want to learn how reaction-related equipment is designed.
- People who want to learn how to collect and organize data on chemical reactions in research and testing facilities, and apply this to equipment design.
